SOPRANO Project Launch

In late 2023, the SOPRANO project was launched, a research project focusing on innovations in the field of human-robot collaboration. Along with other European companies and research institutions, IfADo is also involved. The project is part of the EU's Horizon Europe program.

The SOPRANO project focuses on innovations in the field of human-robot collaboration and intelligent multi-agent systems. The aim is to enable the development of the next generation of factory floors, automated construction sites and smart agri-food production where humans and smart machines work together seamlessly.

The project addresses both the synergistic execution of tasks by humans and robots working together and the strategic role of intelligent multi-robot systems. In these, distributed and interconnected robots with different characteristics and functions are to be intelligently controlled in order to carry out tasks whose complexity is too high for a single robot.

More information about the project can be found on the website.
