  • establishing and validation of new cell culture systems
  • cytotoxic, genotoxic and mutagenic effects of toxic substances in vitro
  • mycotoxins (especially ochratoxin A, enniatin B and citrinin), cutting fluids, flame retardants, toxicity of tobacco smoke ingredients
  • cellular uptake of xenobiotics, molecular toxicology, genotyping, phenotyping
