Patrick Nell receives doctoral award in the field of chemical biology from TU Dortmund

The Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at TU Dortmund awarded this year’s doctoral award in the field of chemical biology to Patrick Nell. The award comes with a certificate and prize money of €500. The festive award ceremony took place during the 15th Chemistry Day, which was held at TU Dortmund on 10 June.

This special award serves to honour outstanding doctoral theses. The selection was made by a jury, which reviewed the doctoral achievements, such as very good examination grades, short study times, the production of publications as well as the exceptional commitment to projects and initiatives of voluntary work. The company Evonik Industries AG sponsors the prize with the aim of promoting highly talented young scientists.
