Declaration of Diversity

IfADo has signed “Charta der Vielfalt” – a voluntary commitment to promote diversity at work. It confirms that all employees are treated equally, regardless of their gender identity, nationality, ethnic origin, religion, disability, age or sexual orientation.

Total E-QUALITY Award

TEQ LogoIfADo has received the Total E-QUALITY Award in 2010, 2014, 2017 and 2020. This award recognizes the successful implementation of gender equality in the personnel and organisation policies of IfADo. This includes the promotion of women in leading positions and the development of a professional concept for family-friendliness. In 2020, IfADo was also certified in the category “Diversity” for the first time.

As a member of the network of research institutions in Dortmund (windo e.V.) we are supporting dual career couples (Dual Career Couple Navigation). IfADo is also a member of the network “Erfolgsfaktor Familie” an initiative of the ‘Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth’ to promote family-friendly working conditions.

Diversity is lived with us as a self-understanding. Our work teams are gender-mixed, cross-generational and international.
