MRI study "Chronotype"

For the study "Chronotype," IfADo is looking for participants. Who are healthy, right-handed, non-smokers and aged between 18 and 40 years. The study investigates how the chronotype is reflected in brain activity and its potential relation to mental illnesses. This research is conducted using MRI and cognitive tasks.

Tasks & Compensation

Humans have an individual inner clock that tells them when they need sleep or when they are particularly productive. This individual sleep-wake rhythm describes the so-called chronotype, which can be tested using a questionnaire.

Specific chronotypes are considered for this study, therefore they must be tested first. Please complete the following questionnaire in advance (https://www.ifado.de/de/chronotyp)  and send a screenshot of the results by email to Lorena de Melo (demelo@ifado.de).

The study takes approximately four hours and compensates 65 €. Alternatively, students from TU Dortmund or Ruhr-Universität Bochum can receive credit hours (VPN).
