Politics meets Science: “Leibniz im Landtag” 2025
On October 9, the “Leibniz im Landtag” event once again brought together researchers with members of the North Rhine-Westphalia State Parliament for an open exchange between science and politics. IfADo was represented by Dr. Hannah Schade.
In her conversation with SPD representative Lisa Kapteinat, Schade discussed the topics of working hours and chronic stress from an occupational psychology perspective. They explored how various factors influence job satisfaction, quality of life, as well as productivity and performance.
Since 2009, with “Leibniz im Landtag”, the Leibniz Association has been offering parliamentary representatives from all parties in North Rhine-Westphalia a platform to discuss current social and research-related issues directly with scientific experts and to gain insights into future-oriented developments. At the same time, researchers benefit from the opportunity to present their current projects and reflect on the societal relevance of their work.
