Jens Niemann wins Bright Sparks Award
This year's European Congress of Immunology (ECI) ended successfully for Jens Niemann. He received a Bright Sparks Award for his presentation on the identification of natural killer cells.
He was honored by the President of ECI 2024 Ed Lavelle and the President of the European Federation of Immunological Societies (EFIS) Federica Sallusto. The Bright Sparks Award is especially designed to honour young scientists.
The ECI is one of the most highly-regarded international conferences in the field of basic and clinical immunology, attracting more than 3,000 participants. This year, the 7th ECI took place in Dublin at the beginning of September. Next time - in 2027 - it will be in Florence.
