Diversity Day 2025

This year's Diversity Day took place on May 27. As a member of the “Charta der Vielfalt” (Diversity Charter), IfADo is also setting an example for diversity and cooperation that is characterized by mutual respect and appreciation. IfADo's research successes are an international team effort, which was celebrated once again this year with a big buffet.

Almost 60 employees came together to create a space for exchange and diversity under the motto “Let's get together to meet and eat”. Everyone brought food from their own country, resulting in a buffet with dishes from all over the world. In addition to Portuguese pasteis de nata, there was Trinidad pelau, a rice dish from Trinidad, Focaccia from Italy, Onion pakora from India, classic currywurst, Hessian Spundekäs, Westphalian pumpernickel and much more. Participants were also able to test their geographical knowledge in a country quiz, guess different spices with the help of smell sticks or simply play Nintendo Sports on the Switch together.

234 employees work at IfADo, 30 percent have an international background and represent almost 30 countries.
