Best Young Scientist: Yannick Metzler at the IEA in South Korea
At this year's congress of the International Ergonomics & Human Factors Association (IEA), Yannick Metzler, a member of the Ergonomics Department at the Leibniz research centre for Working Environment in Dortmund, was once again able to present his lecture entitled „An Organizational Level Approach for Evaluating Risk Metrices of Psychosocial Hazards by Recorded Sick Leave”. Prior to this, he received the Award “Best Young Scientist” for his presentation at the spring congress of the Gesellschaft für Arbeitswissenschaft (GfA) in Stuttgart.

As a prize for the award, the GfA invited Yannick Metzler and three other young scientists who also received an award as Best Young Scientists to the triennial IEA Congress in South Korea to present their paper in a special slot for young scientists. The theme of this year's congress was “Better Life Ergonomics for Future Humans”. The GfA reimbursed the travel costs up to €2,250 per person.
