Anke Flegel wins travel grant at the NK & ILC Symposium

Anke Flegel, PhD student in the immunology department at the Leibniz Research centre for Working Environment in Dortmund, won a travel grant at this year's NK & ILC Symposium. She applied with an abstract on her project on the activity of natural killer cells (NK cells) in 3D cell culture systems.
The German Society for Immunology supports young scientists with the scholarship to make it easier for them to participate in events and offers them the opportunity to network with other researchers, present and discuss their own results.
This year, the symposium was organized for the first time together with the French Society of Immunology and took place in Lyon. Previously, the “NK Cells and ILCs” working group of the German Society of Immunology traditionally organized the annual meeting in Germany.
