Programme for Graduates

The programme for PhD students at IfADo currently consists of the following elements:

  1. Organisational framework: There is a structured agreement between the prospective PhD students and respective supervisors in which all formalities of interaction are regulated.
  2. Scientific training: Discipline-specific colloquia and seminars are regularly held in-house. Presentations by experienced researchers should be attended.
  3. Academic embedding: Participation in graduate programmes at neighbouring universities, support for participation in workshops (e.g. summer schools).
  4. Training of general skills (soft skills): Self-organised courses to develop general skills.
