Symposium EnTox

Environmental Toxicology in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany - Interdisciplinary Research Activities in Toxicology, Statistics, Hygiene and Medicine

Thursday, May 19 - Friday, May 20, 2011
Dortmund

Submission Deadline February 15, 2011

The EnTox symposium, to be held at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Physiology in Dortmund, will address problems related to environmental exposures in North Rhine-Westphalia. North Rhine-Westphalia is the most industrialised federal state in Germany, characterised by chemical industry, metal industry and a long history of mining industry. The impact of industrial and environmental exposures related to these particular industries on human health will be a major focus of the meeting.

Poster contributions and oral presentations are welcome. Presenting authors may submit an original contribution for a regular issue of the Journal of Toxicology and Environmental Health Part A (Editor: Prof. Kacew, Ottawa, Guest Editors of the regular issue dedicated to this symposium: Prof. Golka, Dortmund, Prof. Hengstler, Dortmund, Prof. Ickstadt, Dortmund, Dr. Selinski, Dortmund, Prof. Wilhelm, Bochum).

Deadline for manuscript submissions is May 15, 2011. Revisions of submitted manuscripts will be allowed within a fortnight after the symposium.
