Parliamentarians of the NRW parliament were visited by scientists from 11 north-rhine-westfalian Leibniz institutions on 5th and 6th of May 2009 in their Duesseldorf offices. Hereby politicians and scientists could talk about important trendsetting scientific developments. Due to the theme 'occupational health' members of the IfADo were actively involved in discussing questions of 'age-heterogeneous mixed working teams' (Prof. K.H. Schmidt), 'ageing and CNS alterations' (Prof. M. Falkenstein) and 'setting threshold values for toxicological substances' (Prof. J. G. Hengstler).
