The current research topics are settled at the intersection of
ergonomics and virtual/augmented reality: ergonomic design of head-up
displays in automobiles (funded by the German Research Foundation DFG, GU
331/6-1 and GU 331/6-2, 2006-2011) and application of virtual reality
technologies in the context of ergonomic system analysis (e. g., virtual
prototyping).
The tasks as the patent representative comprise the development,
implementation, and maintenance of a concept for the securing and
utilization of research results and competences of the IfADo (funded by the
Federal Ministry of Education and Research BMBF, 01SF0506, 2006-2008).
