Topics are age-related alterations of sensory, cognitive and motor processes
and the assessment of such changes by behavioral and neurophysiological methods,
such as EEG and fMRI. Special interest is devoted to interventions aimed at
ameliorating age related changes, such as exercise, nutrition and cognitive
activities.
About 100 to 150 internationally renowned aging researchers are expected as
active participants. Interest auditors are welcome; for those a fee will be
taken.
The congress language is English. Apart from the scientific program there will
be an exhibition of age-related products and services.
The congress will be organized by the Leibniz Research Centre for Working Environment
and Human Factors (IfADo). It will take place
October 14 to 16, 2010 in the congress center of the Westfalenhallen Dortmund,
which is located about 300 m from IfADo and about
1 km from Dortmund city.
