Under this devise the 56th Spring Congress of GfA “Gesellschaft für
Arbeitswissenschaft” takes place in Darmstadt on March 24-26, 2010. It
is hosted by the Institute of Ergonomics of TU Darmstadt which is headed by
Professor Dr.-Ing. Ralph Bruder.
Selected topics contribute to the question how we wish to live and work in the
future. Therefore ergonomic research and practical approaches provide many ways
of human-oriented design which are presented at this congress.
The key topics health, individualization, and sustainability reflect on present
discussions in society and science. Innovative design concepts offer ideas for
working and living environments for a humane future. The congress brings together
experts from science and industry in the field of human factors and ergonomics.
