How to get there:By car (see map)Dortmund is connected via the A40 (B1) to major highways: A1 (Bremen - Cologne)A2 (Berlin, Hannover, Dortmund - Oberhausen), A42 (Duisburg - Dortmund), A44 (B1) (Dortmund - Kassel). A45 (Oberhausen - Frankfurt), Please follow the signs to Dortmund and look for special information signs to Westfalenhallen. If using a navigation system your destination is Strobelallee 45 On site you will find parking lots for up to 8.500 cars. The charge is 5,00 EUR per day and car on all lots. With public transportation from Dortmund Central station:Take the Stadtbahn U45 (Direction Westfalenhallen) to the destination "Westfalenhallen". The way to the Congress Hall is directed by information signs to Westfalenhallen. When you see the main Hall, turn to the left of it, one of the entrances of the Congress center is there. From the center of Dortmund you can take U46 (Direction Westfalenhallen) starting either at Reinoldikirche or Stadtgarten to the destination "Westfalenhallen". Please follow the information signs to get to the Congress Center. Additionally, local trains to Lüdenscheid / Soest / Iserlohn (from DO main station platforms 2-4) make a first stop at "Signal-Iduna Park". Please use exit "Signal-Iduna Park", turn right, and follow the road for about 100 m. Turn left after the Public Pool and turn right the next possible path. Walk 300 m, cross the street, keep left walk a few meters and than turn left into the garden. Walk through the garden find the Congress Hall at the end of it. By trainYou can reach Dortmund from all major German cities to Central station - Hauptbahnhof Dortmund with ICE, Intercities, Eurocities. By planeThe airport in Dortmund has connections to major European cities. Other major international airport in the vicinity of Dortmund are Dusseldorf and Cologne/Bonn or Frankfurt.
